Marwin C. Reeves, Jr. is the Pastor of Christ Community Worship Center, Inc. where he succeeds his father Bishop Marvin C. Reeves. At 7 years old, he was baptized in Jesus’ name and received the Holy Ghost enabling him to walk in his calling as an anointed psalmist seeking to use his gifts to glorify God.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Mansfield University, a Certificate of Ministry from New Destiny Fellowship International and working to complete his Master of Divinity and Pastoral Counseling at Lancaster Bible College. Pastor Marwin has served as Music Director in various capacities including Bloomsburg University and Lock Haven University Gospel Choirs, Pennsylvania State Council Young People’s Minister of Music as well as serving as Superintendent of Christian Education.
Through these experiences, his role expanded from minister to mentor, surrogate father, coach, educator, and speaker. He presents and conducts training for churches, colleges and universities on various topics such as faith, worship, achieving true success, clear communication, focus on the family, and diversity.
He is retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons and currently coordinates Crisis Intervention Trainings across Lycoming and Clinton Counties part-time. He is the developer of H.O.P.E, Helping Offenders Pursue Excellence, which seeks to assist ex-offenders with job skills, educational opportunities, and finding faith and is the mastermind behind the L.I.F.E. mission and vision. The L.I.F.E. mission expanded in August 2018 when L.I.F.E. Child Care Learning Center opened its Before and After School Program serving the needs of school-age children within the community. He wrote his first book "90 Days to 90 Degrees" set to be released in 2019 and desires to see lives changed for the glory of God. He is married to Barbara D. Reeves of 22 years, and has two lovely children, Imani and Jerah who serve alongside him in the ministry.
